Who We Are

The Foundation is an independent private Nigerian philanthropic organisation committed to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged Nigerian women, youth and children..

Our Mission

To enhance the quality of life of less fortunate Nigerians by supporting initiatives that improve access to health, education and skill acquisition opportunities.

Our Vision

A Nigeria where all people have access to affordable quality health care, education and equal opportunities to realize their potential.

Our Values

The values of the foundation revolves around community support initiatives, youth empowerment, philanthropy and societal engagement.

What We Do

The Samuel-Mary & Dame Emily Obiyo Foundation is involved in numerous programs designed to improve societal standards.

We offer gifts to churches, nonprofit organization and charities in Nigeria. Our charitable donations are commonly in the form of cash, but can also take the form of real estate, motor vehicles, appreciated securities, clothing and other assets or services in which we find fit.

Drug Abuse Awareness

We support youths affected by the growing epidemic of drug abuse directly and indirectly. At the Obiyo Foundation what we do goes far beyond providing social awareness about the improper use of codeine, we want to assist in the rehabilitation of the youths into the society through mentorships and reinstating in the education system.

Underpinning all our work is a focus on funding projects at critical points in a child’s educational life, where progress often begins to stall, and where we have developed specialist knowledge and experience. Our education projects fall under the following funding areas:
• Teacher-led Innovation competitions.
• OBIYO Foundation Saturday programs.
• School-based partnerships.

Our Education Programmes:
• School Quiz Programmes
• Skills Training
